Harvey Maria approached us to transform their existing Sub Floor instructional content into a cohesive suite of films that would embody their refreshed brand identity while driving consumer engagement and sales. Beyond a simple update, this project represented a strategic pivot to position Harvey Maria as the approachable yet professional authority in premium flooring for the DIY market.


We embarked on a comprehensive brand-aligned content refresh that would:

  • Revitalise Existing Assets — Transform previously produced Sub Floor films with contemporary graphics, typography, color palettes, and music that perfectly align with Harvey Maria's evolved brand guidelines

  • Empower DIY Enthusiasts — Create crystal-clear instructional content that builds confidence in potential customers, making premium flooring installation feel accessible while maintaining Harvey Maria's reputation for quality

  • Drive Conversion — Strategically incorporate subtle yet effective calls-to-action throughout the content, guiding viewers from inspiration to purchase with authentic enthusiasm

  • Expand Digital Footprint — Develop a versatile content ecosystem including both comprehensive instructional videos and quick-hitting social media assets optimised for maximum engagement

  • Capture Brand Personality — Craft a "considered casual" aesthetic that balances Harvey Maria's artisanal heritage with contemporary style, appealing to design-conscious younger audiences

 

The project expanded to include a series of social-first micro-content pieces inspired by successful lifestyle brands, featuring rapid-pace editing and authentic moments that would showcase Harvey Maria's products in real-world applications—from sample selection to finished installation—all while maintaining the brand's distinctive "homespun yet sophisticated" personality.
